Activision and PlatinumGames Team up for TMNT!

Activision, Nickelodeon and PlatinumGames have finally, officially, announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan! I say finally because of all the leaked images floating around the net; we were just waiting on an official word on the matter. Now that we have it, we can get all excited and what not.

TMNT: MiN will feature a cel-shaded art design, a third person perspective and fluid combat. Each turtle will sport their own fighting style and customizable abilities and items. In that vein it’ll be similar to PlatinumGames last title, Transformers: Devastation. Of course, with there being four turtles to choose from, Platinum is offering cooperative play this time around.

The press release we got spoke of four player online play but no local co-op. So we aren’t sure if you can play with friends on your couch – the trailer doesn’t really help in this regard. Still, being able to face Bebop, Rocksteady, the Foot and other foes with friends is something to look forward to.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is expected to arrive this summer on the PS3/4, Xbox 360/One and PC. In the meantime, be sure to check back here for more TMNT news!
