Bethesda Acquires Alpha Dog Games

Bethesda Softworks is looking to improve their mobile standing. Partly by implementing the moves that lead up to certain successes (Fallout Shelter) and partly by acquiring new talent. That being Alpha Dog Games.

Located in Nova Scotia, Canada, Alpha Dog is known for creating engaging products for iOS and Android devices. The plan is to do the same for Bethesda by creating new games in the mobile space.

“We are impressed by the team at Alpha Dog’s commitment to quality and depth of experience in mobile,” said Todd Vaughn, Senior Vice President of Development at Bethesda. “We’re excited to have them join the Bethesda family.”

Considering the popularity of Apple Arcade and Google Play Pass, this move couldn’t have happened at a better time. Here’s hoping we get some interesting mobile titles in the near future.
