CD Projekt RED Announces Their Official Cyberpunk Title!

CD Projekt RED has finily announced the title of the new Cyberpunk game. Based off of the world created by Mike Pondsmith, creator of the classic pen-and-paper RPG, Cyberpunk, RED’s new game will be called Cyberpunk 2077!

Cyberpunk 2077 will feature a multi-thread, nonlinear story designed for mature players. The story takes place in Night City, a sprawling metropolis. There will also be places from Mike Pondsmith’s world like the Afterlife joint and Forlorn Hope.

Based on the descriptions, the sandbox styled gameplay seems like a mixture of Deus Ex and the Witcher. Pen-and-paper concepts in game form? Sounds risky; basically I can’t wait to play it.
