CD Projekt RED Delays Cyberpunk 2077

Square Enix isn’t the only publisher/developer announcing delays. CD Projekt RED is also pushing the release of Cyberpunk 2077 back several months.

Learning that Cyberpunk isn’t coming in April isn’t too shocking.  The game is massive in scope; there’s bound to be a bug or two. And considering that it’s complete and playable – noted by RED via Twitter – the only thing left to do is polish what’s there.

What is annoying unfortunate is the game’s new release date. Set for September 17th, it now sits near Marvel’s Avengers (releasing September 4th). Remember what I said about September? It’s bound to be a packed month.

To be fair, Cyberpunk 2077 would’ve released alongside Final Fantasy VII Remake (due to its recent launch date change). Our wallets were going to be impacted regardless.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on September 17th. Be sure to check back here as we continue to cover this title!
