Deck13 Releases Behind the Scenes Trailer for The Surge!

Deck13 released a new behind the scenes trailer for their upcoming title, The Surge. With the focus being on the limb-based targeting system, the video gives a brief look at the game’s exciting combat.

One of the things that caught my attention when I first heard about The Surge, was it’s similarities to games like Dark Souls. What kept my attention though, was how it differentiated itself via the combat. Being able to target an enemy’s limbs, remove them, and then use them to craft new “arms” is pretty cool. Being able to fluidly duck and jump over attacks pushes things to a new level; fights just look more satisfying given the amount of control one has over the game’s protagonist.
