Deep Silver Bringing Holiday Cheer, Saints Row Style!

Deep Silver announced a Special Saints Row IV Holiday recently. Featuring a contest and DLC, Saints fans should have a lot to look forward to.

First up is the “How the Saints Save Christmas” DLC. The premise – Santa is trapped inside the simulation, but the Scrooge-like boss of the Third Street Saints can’t muster enough festive spirit to save him. Can the Saints help the boss discover the true meaning of the season in time? A holiday classic for the whole family.

If it has to do with the Saints, it’s totally…not appropriate for whole family. Still, this content is sure to be a great add-on to Saints Row IV. Dropping December 11th, How the Saints Save Christmas will be available for $6.99 (or free if you bought the season pass).

Deep Silver also announced a Sing-a-Long Christmas Carol Contest. Participants will need to submit a video of themselves and their friends singing special Saints Row lyrics to Saints Row Jingle Bells. The best entries will be used in a one-of-a-kind Saints Row video message. The winners will also get a special seasonal gift from Deep Silver and Volition.

The last announcement was a call to…ideas. Ideas for how the developers at Volition could possibly redeem themselves, getting back on Santa’s nice list (apparently they were very bad this year). The submissions that are picked will be reenacted by the devs in their own special way.
