Dirty Bomb’s Open Beta Starts in June!

Nexon America and Splash Damage announced today that their competitive FPS, Dirty Bomb, will start its Open Beta on June 2nd. To prepare for the potential flood of new gamers jumping online to play, SD created a new video to explain exactly what Dirty Bomb is…

It reminds me a little of Team Fortress. Hopefully it plays like classic FPS games but with modern sentiments, staying away from shady Pay-to-Win/Enjoy schemes.

“Dirty Bomb takes us back to our roots as a company dedicated to making competitive multiplayer shooters for hardcore gamers,” said Paul Wedgwood, CEO of Splash Damage. “Twenty years ago I played obsessively in a clan, competed in tournaments, made a mod for Quake 3, and as a result, founded Splash Damage with clan mates and friends. We’re grateful to have Dirty Bomb shaped by our players from an early alpha stage – With their dedication and feedback, along with the support from Nexon America, we think we’ve created something special.”

Dirty Bomb will open its doors on June 2nd via Steam. Be sure to check back here as we continue to cover this title!
