Dotemu Releases Streets of Rage 4 Gameplay Trailer

Dotemu finally released a decent amount of gameplay footage for the upcoming Streets of Rage 4. Developed by Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games, fans should be pleased to see some classic beat’em up action and modern, stylized visuals.

The trailer also showcases Axel and Blaze’s ability to juggle enemies; a couple of punches from Axel are followed by a drop kick from Blaze, resulting in multiple hoodlums being bounced across the screen. Signature moves, cooperative gameplay, flaming uppercuts – it’s all great stuff. The only thing we’re missing are the other popular characters (where’s Skate?).

Dotemu hasn’t revealed a launch window or what consoles Streets of Rage 4 will appear on. It’s possible that it’s still being worked on. That said, I sure the game will be released sometime this year. Hopefully…
