Etrian Mystery Dungeon Drops This April!

ATLUS announced the release date of their upcoming RPG, Etrian Mystery Dungeon. Coming exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS, gamers will be able to battle strange monsters while looting fantastical environments this April!

Etrian Mystery Dungeon is the roguelike RPG from Atlus and Spike Chunsoft that combines the character classes and skill trees of the Etrian Odyssey series with the roguelike nature and exploration of the Mystery Dungeon series in a tense, near-infinite dungeon exploring/looting adventure for the Nintendo 3DS. – presser

Trying saying that five times fast…sheesh. ATLUS went on to announce that Landsknecht, the swordsman from the Etrian series, will be joining the cast of recruits. Landsknechts have the ability to lay waste to enemies using strong melee and AOE attacks. Basically, he’s good to have around during a fight.

Etrian Mystery Dungeon will be available for purchase in stores/Nintendo eShop on April 7th. Pre-orders and limited first-run printings of the game will include a bonus soundtrack CD.
