GameMill Announces Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip

Zombieland is getting the “licensed video game” treatment. GameMill revealed today that Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip – a top-down twin stick shooter – would be released a few days before Zombieland 2: Double Tap arrives in theaters.

Set after the events of the first movie, Road Trip is poised to bridge the gap between it and the coming sequel. Fans will don the shoes of Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock (as well as characters from Double Tap) before proceeding to kill hundreds of zombies.

High Voltage Software, Road Trip’s developer, is looking to provide a good time. Local four player co-op, explosive action, daily and weekly challenges, a campaign, horde and boss mode – there will seemingly be a decent amount of content to play through.

Hopefully, Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip will be entertaining. It is a licensed game after all. Also, it would be nice to have online multiplayer options. Still, High Voltage is a solid developer. They might surprise us come October.

Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip will be release for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on October 15th. It is currently available for pre-order at the suggested retail price of $39.99.
