GTAV is Coming to Next-Gen Consoles

GTAV is the new Skyrim. Coming to next-gen consoles next year, Rockstar’s biggest title is constantly being ported.

That’s not a bad thing mind you. If people want to continue playing GTAV (and GTA Online), I say let them. A lot of them have invested time and money into their online avatars. It makes sense that they’ll be able to bring them to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

GTAV isn’t just being ported as is. This newer version will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements. It’ll also include all of the previously released GTA Online content – including exclusive content just for the new consoles and PC.

Speaking of exclusives, Rockstar also announced that all PlayStation Plus members will get $1,000,000 in-game money, within 72hrs of log-in, each month they play GTA Online until launch. Adding to that, is the new standalone version of GTA Online that’ll be free for PS5 players during its first three months.

GTAV will be available on the PS5 (and assumedly) the Xbox Series X in the second half of 2021. Be sure to check back here for more gaming related news.
