Karin Kanzuki Returns to the Street Fighter Franchise!

Capcom announced a fan favorite was returning to the Street Fighter franchise at the Tokyo Game Show. Coming all the way from Street Fighter Alpha 3, Karin Kanzuki lands as a new challenger in Street Fighter V!

Karin has been trained in the unique “Kanzuki style” of fighting. Utilizing her new dash move, she is able to get in close for quick high-low attacks and throws. Versatile as ever, Karin is one rush-down character to contend with…

Also announced was the Capcom Fighters Network (CFN), a community destination that will be integrated into the online infrastructure of SFV. Fans and players will be able to visit CFN at any time to view player profiles, match statistics, replay videos, as well as register friends and send battle invitations. They’ll also be able to see what’s going on via a global “heat map” and stay up to date on the latest game news and tournament information. It’s basically a hub for those looking to get the most out of their SFV experience.

Street Fighter V is slated for the PS4 and PC in Spring 2016. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date as that time draws near!
