New BloodRayne: Betrayal Screenshots!

Today seems to be a busy day. We are getting a lot of updates about future titles. One of them happens to be the upcoming BloodRayne: Betrayal arcade game. This is a new hack-n-slash side scroller that’s coming to both XBLA and PSN this August. Betrayel follows the story of Rayne, the vampire hunting dhampir, who has been recruited on another mission by the Brimstone Society. It seems that she has been sent to crash a secret ball being held in a castle somewhere. Apparently the there are going to be vampires that needs a killing and she’s the best person for the job.

This new entry into the series reminds me of the classic Castlevania games (which is a complement more than anything else). There are puzzles that need to be solved, items that need to be found, and giant bosses that need to be killed. Fun times!

Be sure to check out this title. It will be dropping on the 30th (PSN) and the 31st (XBLA) of August!
