New Indie Games Land on The Switch!
Written By: Kenneth Seward Jr.
Update: The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth + releases tomorrow, March 17th. All of the other games are available as of today though.
The Nintendo Switch is getting more indie title today – a good thing considering the next big title will be released next month; I just “finished” playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (review coming soon)…
First up is The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth +. Like Minecraft, this title seems to land on every device, mobile or not. That doesn’t diminish the fact that it’s a great addition to the Switch’s library though. For those that don’t know, Afterbirth is a dungeon-crawling shoot’em up that features randomly generated maps. As you can imagine, the plus means it offers more content/updates than the basic version released years ago. World of Goo, Human Resource Machine, and Little Inferno, an adventure game that takes place almost entirely in front of a fireplace, round out the list. All of which bolster the available titles to Switch owners, Indie or not.
Being able to take popular indie games with you when traveling is one of the only reasons Sony’s Vita is still kicking. The same thing applies to the Switch; being able to play your favorite (or soon to be favorite) games on the go is a huge selling point. Here’s hoping that the next indie line up is as great as what’s already in the eShop!
