Rockstar Delays Red Dead Redemption 2’s Launch!

Rockstar Games recently revealed that the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 won’t be coming out this year. Instead, fans looking to get their cowboy on will have to wait till next Spring…

You know, I’m not upset. One can only imagine how big this game is going to be given the success of GTA V. It makes sense that Rockstar would want to take some extra time to get things right. At least, that seems to be the case given their statement on a press release:

“We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready.”

They also mentioned how this will be the first game they develop from the ground up for the current gen systems. Not only that, but Rockstar also said that they’ll be sharing more information this summer; basically, this news isn’t all that bad.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on the Xbox One and PS4 spring 2018. We assume it’ll eventually land on PC as well. Whatever the case, be sure to check back here as we continue to follow this title!
