SEGA and Game Freaks Reveal New IP!

We all knew something cool would come from the recently announced partnership of SEGA and Game Freak. Well, today they revealed what they’ve been working on…a badass elephant!

Called Tembo The Badass Elephant, this new title is a 2D side-scrolling action adventure game. Gamers will use Tembo’s large size to smash baddies to save Shell City from the forces of Phantom. Of course, he’ll cause wonton destruction along the way; is he really saving the city?

“We’re delighted to be working with Game Freak to bring this heavyweight adventure to an audience we feel it will have relephants to,” said John Clark, the Senior Vice President of Commercial Publishing for SEGA Europe. “It’s a trunkful of fun and we think gamers are going to love it. Hopefully more than my rubbish elephant puns. ” 

Who knew Game Freak could create anything other than new Pokemon?* SEGA did apparently. Tembo The Badass Elephant is coming to the Xbox One, PS4, and PC this summer. Be sure to check back here as continue to share more about this interesting title!
