Sony Updates Their Exclusive Release Schedule

Sony has quietly updated their release schedule. And by quietly, I mean they’ve announced some changes via their PlayStation blog

The Vice President of Marketing for SIE Worldwide Studios, Asad Qizilbash explained that they’ve been hard at work in terms of releasing quality PS4 titles. To make sure fans are aware of what’s to come, he also provided an update for multiple titles. For instance, the FromSoftware PSVR title Déraciné is now scheduled to launch on November 6th. The biggest news, however, was Days Gone’s new release date.

Sony wisely moved Days Gone from its February release date. With so many major titles – including Anthem, Metro Exodus, and hopefully Crackdown 3 – they didn’t want the people looking forward for Days Gone to have a hard time choosing their title. Instead, the Sony exclusive will launch on April 26th, 2019.

Qizilbash also announced a release period for Pixelopus’ Concrete Genie. Coming early 2019 (mostly likely not in the month of February), this game follows a teenager named Ash who uses a magical paintbrush to bring mischievous creatures to life. It’s an interesting title that’s worth keeping an eye on. Then there is Everybody’s Golf, which will make it’s PSVR debut next spring. Players will be able to experience this popular title in new ways, with or without PlayStation Move motion controllers.

More news about other titles – Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us: Part II and so on – will be shared when Sony is ready. Meaning, when they are closer to going gold. We’ll be sure to share this news the moment we’re made aware!
