SteamWorld Heist Gets a “Steam Powered” Soundtrack!

It looks like the rumors were just as we thought; Steam Powered Giraffe is working on the soundtrack for the anticipated, multi-platform space strategy adventure, Steamworld Heist.

The San Diego bred band isn’t just going to make the entire soundtrack, but they will be in the game! Think about how perfect it is to have a steampunk game with a steampunk styled band. It’s such a match made in heaven that we don’t usually get to see in gaming. The team at Image & Form and Steam Powered Giraffe are both equally stoked about the upcoming game. The band really excited about this mash-up – “Luckily, make-up aside, our mechanical cog-filled hearts were in synch. When asked if we would like to collaborate with Image and Form on their next Steamworld game we immediately said yes! We loved Steamworld Dig, and a steam-powered robot band making music for a steam-powered robot game? Count us in!” says David Michael Bennett (The Spine) of Steam Powered Giraffe.
