WizKids is doing big things of late…big comic book like things involving both Marvel and DC.

Yesterday, WizKids and Gale Force Nine released a new HeroClix strategy game X-Men: Mutant Revolution. The premise sees Wolverine, Cyclops, Magneto, and Storm going against each other as each has a different vision for the future after the Phoenix event created new mutants around the globe. Three to four players will recruit their own heroes and students, train them in their schools before sending them on missions against their rivals. Sounds like fun to me.

If that wasn’t enough, they released DC Comics Dice Masters: Justice League today. It’s the dice-building game but with DC characters. Two players can go head to head using over 30 fan favorite heroes and villains including Batman, Wonder Woman, Deathstroke, The Joker, Darkseid and more.

The X-Men: Mutant Revolution Strategy Game is a complete set; meaning everything you need to play is available in the box. It’s run gamers $49.99. The DC Comics Dice Masters starter pack is $14.99 and includes 44 custom dice, 38 cards, two dice bags and a rule book. Those looking to add to the game can also buy foil packs which contain two cards and two dice with additional heroes and villains for $0.99 each. Regardless of which comic universe you lend towards, both games seem like a lot of fun!
