Telltale Releases First Batman Screens!

Telltale Games unveiled the first look at Batman: The Telltale Series, ahead of its worldwide debut this summer. And…well, it looks pretty good.

Batman: The Telltale Series looks like Telltale’s recent games. Namely, like a comic book. Having nice graphics won’t be enough though. Fans are looking for a great story and interesting gameplay. Or at the very least, enough emphasis on what would make a Batman game stand out from say, The Walking Dead.

“We’ve been hard at work at Telltale creating an all-new iteration of the iconic Batman story that puts players in the suit of billionaire Bruce Wayne, just as much as it will put them behind the mask, deciding how to carefully navigate a complex drama, rich with action, crime, corruption, and villainy lurking around every corner of Gotham City,” said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games.

Telltale also announced some of the talent behind the characters we’ll be interacting with. The award winning cast includes Troy Baker (Batman), Travis Willingham (Harvey Dent), Laura Bailey (Selina Kyle), Erin Yvette (Vicki Vale), Murphy Guyer (Lieutenant James Gordon), and Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone. Additional cast and characters will be revealed as the season progresses.

Of course, Batman: The Telltale Series will be released on just about every platform when it launches this summer. We’ll be sure to keep you updates as things progress!
