Telltale Reveals The Walking Dead: Season Two!

Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman have officially revealed The Walking Dead: Season Two. Of course we expected them to announce the next part of their hit series sometime this year. What I didn’t expect was to see a certain little girl…

Spoiler alert for all of you who haven’t played the first game season; everyone else, Clementine is back! We’ll be able to play as the orphan as she struggles to survive amongst the walkers and possibly dangerous humans.

“The terrifying nature of Robert Kirkman’s world has allowed Telltale to push the boundaries of interactive drama in video games to a place that has had fans anxious to know what will happen next in this series,” said Dan Connors, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. “Today we can finally lift the veil, albeit only a little, on how this story will continue, and we’ll soon be putting players in the shoes of a lead role that will challenge their expectations of how to survive in a world where no one can be trusted.”

Just like the last season, there will be five episodes released later this year (ending sometime in 2014) on PC/Mac, home consoles, and iOS. Your decisions from the first season and 400 Days will impact Clem’s story; certain characters may or may not be present. It’s possible to save 10% off the price if you pre-order the entire season (it’ll be around $22.49) via Steam or Telltale’s Online store.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who can’t wait to see what happens. Though I was hoping not to see Clementine, I’m excited to see she’s ok! For those that didn’t play the first season, Telltale will be releasing a game of the year edition which includes the first season, 400 Days, the original score and exclusive behind the scenes video. It’ll launch in November for $29.99.
