THQ Nordic Releases Elex Prologue!

Magalan used to be a home to a large civilization. That all ended when a comet crashed into the planet, creating earthquakes and firestorms. Those who survived are of course, faced with difficulties stemming from the destruction. This includes mutant creatures, warring factions, moral ambiguity – the basic post-apocalyptic trappings we’ve come to except from this sort of game.

I haven’t personally had the chance to learn much about Elex. That said, it is being developed by Piranha (Gothic, Risen) who’ve had a decent run at this genre. It’s possible that Elex will be hit or at the very least, an ok RPG when it’s released. We’ll have to wait and see of course.

Elex is set to release later this year for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. We’ll continue to follow its development as things progress.
