Torchlight II to Drop This Month!

Runic Games has finally done it. They’ve announced the release date of one of the most anticipated games of the year, Torchlight II!

Runic Games’ CEO, Max Schaefer comments, “We worked incredibly hard to make sure we could release Torchlight II before Summer’s official end. Development will continue right up until we ship, and we couldn’t be happier to be putting the finishing touches on a great game. We want to get it to the fans as quickly as possible. Honestly, we can’t wait.” 

After playing the beta I can’t wait either. Torchlight II will have everything the first title had and more. Four new classes, a larger world, you name it, they got it. Also, for those of you who hated the “always online” part of Diablo III, you can rest assure that isn’t the case here.

Torchlight II will be released on September 20th as a digital download from Steam, Runic Games, Perfect World GamersGate, GameFly, and GameStop. Be sure to mark it on your calendar and to check back with us as we continue to cover this title!
