Vicious Circle Gets a Release Date

Rooster Teeth Games recently announce the release date of their upcoming “uncooperative” shooter, Vicious Circle. Would-be fans will be able to fight over loot come August. Good times.

And by good times, I mean Vicious Circle will seemingly be an entertaining game. It features an interesting premise, with similarities to asymmetrical titles (think Evolve or Friday The 13th: The Game).

Four mercenaries must compete for loot in a futuristic environment while chased by a massive alien creature. The players controlling the mercs will need to team up in order to survive the onslaught. That said, only one person can leave with a bag of nuggets – the game’s loot. Meaning that they’ll eventually have to double cross one another in hopes of winning the round/match.

Rooster Teeth went on to give a brief look at the game’s roadmap. Between season 1 and 2, players will new content – some of which are locked within the typical Battle Pass – alongside the game’s current maps, mercenaries, monsters, etc.

Season 2 will include a new map, monster, merc, cosmetics, gadgets, and events. Basically, there’s going to be a lot going on post launch.

Vicious Circle will be available on PC (via Steam) for $19.99 on August 13th. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we learn more about this interesting title!
