Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is an all new standalone Borderlands game, taking place in between Borderlands and Borderlands 2. What’s really cool is that this is the first time gamers won’t be on Pandora. They game takes place on Pandora’s moon; before Handsome Jack created his own Hyperion moon base.

This pre-sequel is all about Handsome Jack’s rise to power. As hated as he is, gamers will be joining his team as he takes power. But what’s awesome is that we can finally play as a claptrap!

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is currently in co-development by Gearbox Software and 2K Australia. It will be launching this fall for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. In the meantime, take a look at this developer overview video:
