A Dead Island Calendar?

That’s right. Deep Silver announced today that they’re going to showcase a Dead Island themed Christmas calendar! Each day a new “surprise” will await visitors. Not only that, Deep Silver announced a contest where, each Sunday in December, gamers will be able to put their knowledge of both the game and zombies to the test. Prizes range from Dead Island themed airbrushed consoles to a hand picked collection of the best zombie movies on Blue-ray; even a 46 inch 3D-HDTV from Sony is up for grabs! Even if you don’t win one of those prizes, you can earn clues for the competition finale that will take place on December 25th. The winner will receive a one week trip to a tropical island for two (valued at $6,000)!

While this is a cool (and yet disturbing) display of zombie love during Christmas, I would love to hear more details about the upcoming Dead Island movie. I guess this calendar will have to do till then. Either way, zombie lovers should have a good time checking out those surprises Deep Silver was talking about. The calendar will be available starting December 1st through the 25th, 2011 on DI’s Christmas site.
