Bandai to Release Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris in Americas

Bandai recently announced that Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is coming to the Americas. Fans will once again be able to don the shoes of hero Kirito in this new action RPG title…they just won’t have to import it first.

Following the events of the Alicization anime arc, fans will need to guide Kirito through the “Underworld” – a virtual world where A.I.s behave like humans. Along the way, they’ll battle tough enemies, relive emotional scenes from the anime and encounter familiar characters.

“For the first time in a SWORD ART ONLINE video game, players will be able to faithfully follow the events of the anime series.” said Jennifer Tsang, Brand Marketing Manager at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. “We look forward to players and fans experiencing the Alicization story arc as Kirito, uncovering the mysteries of Underworld, and making new friends along the way.”
