Bethesda Announces Wolfenstein: The Old Blood!

Bethesda Softworks today announced Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, a standalone prequel to the hit FPS, Wolfenstein: The New Order. Yup…gamers well get to spend more time in B.J. Blazkowicz Nazis killing shoes!

Developed by MachineGames, The Old Blood is told in two parts. Taking place in 1946 with the Nazis close to winning WWII, the first part (Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves) tasks B.J. Blazkowicz with breaking into Castle Wolfenstein. His goal is to steal the coordinates to General Deathshead’s compound. The second part (The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs) sees B.J. in the city of Wulfburg where an obsessed Nazi archaeologist is exhuming artifacts capable of releasing a dark, ancient power.

“Diving back into the world of Wolfenstein has really been fun for us,” said Jerk Gustafsson, executive producer at MachineGames. “We’ve enjoyed exploring the events leading up to The New Order. We think fans will really enjoy the story, all the action and, of course, jumping back into the combat with new weapons.”

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will be available digitally for $19.99 on May 5th on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. We’ll continue to update you as we get closer to launch!
