Bethesda Reveals The Wolfenstein: The New Order Panzerhund Edition!

Today, Bethesda announced the Wolfenstein: The New Order Panzerhund Edition, a collection featuring the game and premium items from the Wolfenstein universe. Similar to the Bioshock Infinite’s Songbird bundle, this edition will be limited in number!

The Panzerhund Edition comes packaged in a vintage footlocker-style box with an individually stamped number plate (showing it’s limitedness), an 8 inch fully articulated hand-painted Panzerhun statue and base, 14 full color vintage postcards from Wolfenstein’s alternate 1960’s and display book, custom replica dog tags, a steelbook case and more.

Bethseda is allowing gamers to pre-order this collection at their online store. Again, the edition is limited (only 5,000 have been made) so if you want one I’d head over there – the asking price is $100.

Wolfenstein: The New Order will be available on the Xbox 360/One, PS3/4 and PC on May 20th. Those that pre-order any copy will be invited to the DOOM beta…whenever that’s released.

Update: It seems that this edition doesn’t come with a copy of the game. This is what’s noted on the pre-order site: This collector’s edition does not include a copy of the game. Keep your pre-order at your favorite retailer and we’ll send you these goodies separately—this way we can ship these boxes worldwide and you’re not stuck waiting for your game to come along with an oversized, expensively shipped box. So, you’re still paying $60 for the game at a seperate retailer.
