Dead Rising Trilogy is Coming to Current Gen!

Capcom has announced that past Dead Rising titles will be getting the “current gen” treatment. That’s right! Gamers will be able to play Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off The Record on the PS4, Xbox One and PC come next month…

In celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the series, Capcom is allowing fans and newcomers to don the shoes of Frank West and Chuck Greene for some zombie bashing fun. Each game will be running at 1080p, 60 fps. And, unlike other recently announced ports, they’ll include all of the past DLC.

All three games will be available on September 13th, in a Dead Rising Triple Pack bundle (consoles only) for $49.99 or purchased separately for $19.99 each; the bundle seems to be for those who pre-order. Physical copies of Dead Rising will be available on September 13th as well, though Dead Rising 2 won’t hit retail stores until the 27th.

Capcom is banking on our love for zombies to re-sell their older games. That and/or they’re looking to garner hype for the upcoming Dead Rising 4. Regardless of the case, there will be plenty of zombies to go around.
