Deadly Premonition 2 Gets a Release Date

Rising Star Games recently revealed the release date for Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise. Fans will finally get to play this cult classic in the making.

Deadly Premonition is a cult franchise. The original game is loved by fans all over and has since been ported to the Switch. There’s even a board game. One can assume Deadly Premonition 2 will continue the trend; it’s bound to be a trippy game full of water color moments. I mean, just look at the release date trailer…

What’s interesting about Deadly Premonition 2 is that it’s both a sequel and prequel. By following the exploits of series protagonist, FBI Special Agent York, fans will dive into the past and present happenings of Le Carré. They’ll have to investigate a sting of murders that’s plagued the town for years.

Beyond solving this strange murder mystery, players will also be able to explore the town, play mini-games – bowling, skateboard challenges, bayou rides, etc. – customize Agent York, and upgrade his skateboard. Basically, there will be a bunch of things to do when you aren’t working on the case.

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will be available exclusively on the Switch, on July 10th. Fans will be able to purchase it digitally or at retail for $49.99.
