Deathgarden is Getting the Early Access Treatment!
Behaviour Digital has revealed that their upcoming title, Deathgarden, is entering Steam Early Access. Coming later this month, gamers will be able to test out this shooter for free!
Deathgarden is an asymmetrical multiplayer game where a solo player, playing as a powerful Hunter, goes up against a team of five players in the role of Runners. The Hunter’s job is to prevent the Runners from completing a set of objectives on a procedurally generated map.
Similar to Behaviour Digital’s other game (Dead by Daylight) the Hunter is played from a first-person view while the Runners are viewed in third person. Also similar is the fact that Runners will need to complete a set of objectives to be able to open an exit and escape the Garden/map. Check out the launch trailer to see what I mean:
Deathgarden will be available via Steam Early Access on August 14th, for $29.99. Gamers will be able to try out the game for free until August 21st. It’ll feature a new mode, time of day, main hub, progression/customization options and more. The plan is to official release the game in early 2019 – as long as things constantly progress during the Early Access period. Be sure to check back here as we continue to follow this title!
