Devolver Digital Announces Not A Hero!

Devolver Digital announced an interesting indie title today. Called Not A Hero, the game follows a professional assassin who’s supposed to clean up a city for an anthropomorphic rabbit named BunnyLord…what?

Developed by Roll7 (OlliOlli), Not A Hero is a cover based shooter set in a world where rabbits can hold political offices. BunnyLord is one such rabbit, who plans on winning the coming election by ridding the city of its criminal underworld. So he hires Steve (the assassin) to put a bullet in those looking to…um…put bullets in everyone else.

“Through extensive market research we were able to establish that the ideal indie game combines subtle political satire with intense, unrestrained violence from an anthropomorphic rabbit from the future,” said Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker. “Extensive market research.”

Not A Hero is scheduled to launch on PC (via Steam, GOG, and Humble) on May 7th. Gamers headed to PAX East, SXSW Gaming and Rezzed will have the opportunity to play the game throughout March. Beyond that, be sure to keep it locked here as we continue to write about rabbit men from the future!
