Dotemu Reveals Exciting Details About Streets of Rage 4

Dotemu is one of the developers keen on delivering exciting news. The first of which is the introduction of Cherry Hunter, a brand-new Streets of Rage character.

Cherry is the daughter of Adam Hunter, from the original Streets of Rage. She was apparently trained by Adam and Axel; she had hoped to one day become a cop like her father. That all changed after she fell in love with music. Fast forward to time of Streets of Rage 4 and Cherry can be seen playing guitar in a rock band.

Of course, that’s not to say that she doesn’t still enjoy beating up random goons. She just does all of her fighting between sets.

Dotemu also revealed which platforms Streets of Rage 4 would land on; our money was always on the Switch. Fans should be happy to learn that SoR4 will launch on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and the Switch sometime next year.

Streets of Rage 4 looks like loads of fun. We can’t wait to hear/see more as we get closer to the game’s 2020 launch!
