Escape Dead Island This November!

Deep Silver announced the release date for Escape Dead Island, a third-person survival mystery title set in the Dead Island universe. Set to connect the events between Dead Island and Dead Island 2, fans will finally know the origin of the zombie outbreak this November!

I wonder if we’ll see any remnants of Riptide in Escape; though it wasn’t a full fledged sequel, it did continue Dead Island’s story. It would make sense when it comes to connecting the games together.

Outside of the story, gamers can expect some new gameplay elements. Namely in the use of stealth as an alternative to the normal hack and slash mechanics. There other features that separate this title from the rest, like the protagonist’s psyche that seems to get warped the closer he gets to the truth.

Escape Dead Island will be released on November 18th for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. We’ll continue to update you as more news comes our way.
