Gloomywood Releases New 2Dark Story Trailer!

Frederick Raynal, the creator of Alone in the Dark, announced today that his newest survival horror game is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC!

Aptly titled 2Dark, Raynal’s new game follows the plight of a Mr. Smith. The town of Gloomywood has been plagued with a string of child abductions. Mr. Smith, who witnessed his wife’s murder before his children was taken, has vowed to bring a stop to the madness. This is easier said than done of course; first he has to find the missing children…

Players will have to navigate dangerous environments during their search for the children. Sticking to the shadows and avoiding your enemies is key – bullets, batteries, and other important items are limited, making any given encounter potentially fatal. What’s interesting is the fact that the children are just that, children. Stop for too long and they’ll start to cry, alerting the killers to their position.

2Dark is being developed by Gloomywood (yes, the developer and town share the same name) and will be released sometime this year.
