Hellraid Moves to Current Gen Consoles!

Techland officially announced today that its upcoming Hellraid title will run on a new engine. As of such, the game is now heading to current gen consoles alongside the PC release!

Hellraid is being transferred to the Chrome Engine 6, the same tech used in Dying Light. Thanks to this technology, Hellraid will have new physics-based lighting, more detailed locations and character models, complex animations, and more.

The game will offer three different game modes. In the Story Mode, players will try to repel the forces of hell while the Mission Mode offers up more arcade-style fun (complete with Leaderboard rankings). The new Arena Mode will offer survival gameplay against waves of enemies. All of these modes will feature 1-4 player support. Basically a lot of fun for first-person hack and slash fans!

Hellraid will be available sometime in 2015 for the Xbox One and PS4, with the PC version hitting Steam Early Access in autumn of this year!
