KOF XIV is Now Available for Pre-Order on PSN!

ATLUS just announced that The King of Fighters XIV is available for digital pre-order on PSN…

“IT HAS BEGUN!” Um…yeah; Shang Tsung movie impression aside, I’m normally not for pre-ordering games, especially digital versions that can’t possibly sell out. ATLUS usually has some bonus offerings when it comes to pre-order though (with percentages off the retail price being the main reason to indulge). In this case it’s DLC in the form of Nightmare Geese and Classic Kyo costumes. There’s also a snazzy PS4 theme.

One thing to note, there will be a limited number of retail launch editions of the game that will come with the special SteelBook case; the one that’s also included in the premium edition. Being a big SNK fan, that’s what I’m leaning towards.

King of Fighters XIV is going to be released on the PS4 on August 23rd. It’ll also be at EVO 2016 in Las Vegas (all day July 15th and 16th) where gamers can try their hands in freeplay and tournaments.
