More Metal Gear News/Sony Exclusives Announced!

Konami announced new details about Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes at the Sony PS4 launch event. For those that missed it (basically those looking to get an Xbox One), Hideo Kojima’s reveal debuted some new content worth checking out!

First up was a 12-minute extended gameplay video, captured from the PS4, showing a “Side Ops” day mission. Here we see Big Boss using stealth tactics to retrieve key intelligence from a double agent. It also showcases new gameplay mechanics, time of day elements/weather conditions, refined AI and more.

The second thing shown was an exclusive mission for the PS3 and PS4 consoles. Appropriately titled Déjà vu, this mission recreates an old mission that was originally featured in the first Metal Gear Solid game, fitting it into the Ground Zeroes universe (when it comes to gameplay mechanics). Gamers will be able to play as Solid Snake in low-polygon form in high definition. Check out the teaser trailer below to see what I mean.
