New Dead Island Character Bio!

I am so happy to be a zombie fan. With the surge of zombie related games, I don’t know what to do with myself. I really don’t think zombies have been this popular in a long time. There is so much zombie media nowadays that it’s almost overwhelming. You have Telltale working on The Walking Dead titles (inspired by the comic), there’s the multiple Dead Rising titles (the different cases), and Capcom has even gone back to using these shambling monsters in their RE: Raccoon City title!

Being such a zombie fan, any news that I get about upcoming titles like Dead Island makes me even more anxious to get some hands on time. Speaking of Dead Island, we were able to get a character bio for Logan. No not “that” Logan. We’re talking about one of the four characters gamers will be able to choose from when Dead Island hits.  Let’s read:

“A former football star, spoiled by life and successful in every possible way, Logan’s ego finally put an end to his bright future. Taking part in a reckless street race with tragic consequences, Logan not only killed a young woman – his unfortunate passenger; he also fractured his knee, putting an end to his sports career.  His fall from stardom inevitably followed and he plunged swiftly into a life of bitterness and despair. In an attempt to get away from the demons hunting him, he gladly takes the chance to experience the beauties and wonders of Banoi. Soon enough though the getaway he was dreaming about turns into a real life nightmare…”

By the looks of this character, I would guess his attributes would involve using blunt objects against attackers. His bum knee might mean that he can’t run as fast or jump as high as the others. There hasn’t been much word on what each character can do (outside of the female character being some sort of an assassin) in terms of setting them apart from one another.
