Nintendo Announces Super Mario Maker 2

Nintendo’s latest Direct Video was full of great news. It was filled with updates, new game announcements and more. One of the highlights was the reveal for Super Mario Maker 2, a sequel to the hit Wii U/3DS title.

We expected the previous title to be ported over, with some new bells and whistles of course. A full fledge sequel though? Not so much. Which is one of the reasons why it was such a welcomed reveal; the original was super entertaining.

What’s even more shocking is the fact that the game will be releasing on the Switch this year. Players will be creating new courses using a improved suit of tools come June.
