Red Barrels Announces Outlast Trinity!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Red Barrels recently announced a worldwide distribution agreement for Outlast Trinity – a bundle containing Outlast, Outlast: Whistleblower (DLC), and the upcoming Outlast 2. It would seem that Red Barrels intends to scary gamers silly come April…

“We’ve been lucky to have such an amazing fan base, and none of this would have been possible without their support,” said Co-Founder Philippe Morin, Red Barrels. “Ever since we released Outlast in 2013, a physical version has been one of the top requests, so we’re obviously thrilled to finally give people the entire series in one bundle of terror.”

Having the option of a physical copy is always a plus. I wish there was a way to get a physical copy of Outlast 2 by itself though; I already own Outlast and the Whistleblower DLC. As of right now the only way to get it sans the bundle is via a digital platform. And depending on the cost of the bundle (they haven’t released that info yet), I’d probably lean on the digital side of things. Still, this is a good announcement, especially for those who’ve yet to play any title in this series.

Outlast Trinity and Outlast 2 will be available on April 25th on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Be sure to check back here as we continue to cover this title!
