SEGA’s Yakuza is Coming to Xbox One
Microsoft made some big announcements at X019. Some of which were rather unexpected. One could assume that new games would be revealed on stage. Not many would have guessed that SEGA’s Yakuza would show up…
For the first time ever, Xbox fans will be able to play Yakuza games; they are were typically reserved for Sony consoles (and recently PC). That’s all changing next year when three Yakuza games are released on Xbox One and PC.
Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will all be available through the Xbox Game Pass. They’ll offer newcomers a proper introduction to the series’ beat’em up styled action, dramatic character-driven stories, and small, yet dense environments. Good times.
If you’ve never played a Yakuza game, feel free to check out our reviews of each game – despite some tough criticism, we genuinely love the series. Hopefully, new players will feel the same way come early 2020.
