Shaq Fu is Back…Or at Least it Could Be!

I didn’t think it was possible. I mean, it’s certainly possible…just not probable. Would a developer really try and make a sequel to the terrible Shaq Fu game? Is there even a developer out there who’d want to do such a thing? Apparently, there is!

Big Deez Productions, a team of video game industry professionals assembled by Shaq, to make Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn. Using Indiegogo, they plan on fundraising the money needed to get the game released.

It seems that, unlike the first title, A Legend Reborn will be a cooperative beat’em up game. It’s till feature a VS mode for those who don’t wish to play nice. Based on what’s being said about the game, it seems it could be pretty good. As long as they don’t take themselves too seriously.

Shaq is offering some interesting perks for those that pledge. A signed original sized 22 Shaq Attack sneaker, the opportunity to play basketball with Shaq on his own court at his house, and being part of the taping of a TNT show at an NBA game are just some of the outlandish goodies being offered. Even without the perks, it looks like the makings of a cool game. I recommend checking it out at Indiegogo.

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn – Here’s hoping they don’t Fu it up.

Editor’s Note: We apologize for using Shaq’s bad pun.
