Shenmue III Finally Gets a Release Date!

Deep Silver and YS Net Inc. dropped a bomb on gamers today at Gamescom. Not only did they release a new trailer for the highly anticipated Shenmue III, but they also announced its release date!

Gamers have been waited for Yu Suzuki – creator of the series and head of YS Net Inc. – to finish the Shenmue series. So much so, that they gave earnestly to Shenmue III’s Kickstarter back in 2015. Fast forward past brief appearances and an odd trailer or two and we’ve finally got a release date.

Shenmue III will be available for the PS4 and PC on August 27th, 2019. I’m assuming it’ll eventually land on the Xbox One as well – the previous titles in the series were released on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC today. Only time will tell though. Whatever the case, keep it locked her for more gaming related news!
