SNK Announces New Samurai Shodown Game

Publishers are making sure to alert gamers about their products ahead of the Tokyo Game Show. My guess, these teasers and such are to build anticipation for what’ll be shown during the show. A smart move – thanks to recent announcements, fans are eagerly awaiting the event!

One such announcement came from SNK. They revealed that a new Samurai Shodown (called Samurai Spirits) was in the works. It’s expected to drop sometime next year exclusively on the PS4 – similar to KoF XIV – and will feature fan favorites. At least, that’s what we got from the teaser trailer.

This new Samurai Shodown looks good. As a fighting game fan, I’m pleased to see so many titles being resurrected. Now if Capcom can only give us a new Dark Stalkers…
