Sony Reveals End of Year Surprises in Latest State of Play

Sony wanted to make one last “hurrah” before the close of 2019. And thanks to their fourth episode of State of Play – the mini-showcase series that apes Nintendo’s Direct videos – they were able to do just that!

Today’s State of Play featured a decent amount of news. We got release dates for long-awaited titles, sneak peaks at new IPs, and couple of surprises (some of which may or may not have been leaked prior to today’s video). Check them all out below.

Leave it to Sony to offer up some nice surprises for their fans. They even included a nice moment with Former Honorary Chairman, Ken Kutaragi, celebrating 25 years of PlayStation. Here’s hoping that we’ll get to hear more about their future plans – namely the reveal of the PS5, an event that’ll probably happen during next year’s E3.
