Square Releases a Marvel’s Avengers Game Overview Trailer
Square Enix released a new Marvel’s Avengers trailer today. By offering a deeper dive into the game, the video gives fans a solid look at the gameplay, story, mission variety and more.
The bulk of the video deals with the game’s campaign. It details how the Avengers fall during A-Day, before rising again to take on AIM…
The overview also talks about Marvel’s Avengers’ RPG mechanics. How fans will be able to upgrade their heroes and don classic, fan-favorite, and all new costumes inspired by over 80 years of Marvel history.
Lastly, it details the game’s different mission types. The Hero missions, for example, are single-player romps are designed to showcase each hero’s skills and abilities; they are an extension of the Campaign.
Up to four players can team up to take on Warzone Missions. These action-packed missions will scale based on the team size and player level, providing tougher challenges for experienced heroes.
The overview trailer does a decent job of explaining what Marvel’s Avengers is going to be. What the video doesn’t explain, however, is how the campaign will continue post launch. Square will release new super heroes and regions – or narrative based content – to players at no additional cost.
Marvel’s Avengers looks promising so far. Here’s hoping that it’ll play just as good when it launches for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on May 15th, 2020.
