Square Releases Trailer for New Heavensward Patch!

Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, namely for Patch 3.1: As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness

Patch 3.1 includes new additions to the main scenario (following the conclusion of Heavensward), a new 24-player alliance raid on a haunted vessel (the Void Ark), high level dungeons, and new exploratory missions in far-off islands that can only be reached via airships.

The patch will also include an all new RTS attraction called Lord of Verminion. Players will use minions and do battle in 1v1 matches. Interesting. Of course, there are the high end gear and additional sidequests; basically this patch is a few items short of a full expansion.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is currently available on the PS3, PS4 and PC for $39.99. Final Fantasy XIV Online, the all-in-one bundle that includes both A Realm Reborn and Heavensward, is available for $59.99. A free 30-day trial is included for new FINAL FANTASY XIV accounts, with monthly subscriptions starting at $12.99. The new patch will launch Nov. 10th.
