Square Reveals Just Cause 3’s Sky Fortress!

Square Enix shared some details about Just Cause 3’s Air, Land & Sea Expansion pass today. First up is the soon to be released, Sky Fortress content pack…

The Sky Fortress pack comes with new missions that focus on a new threat. Namely a sky fortress housing an army of deadly robot drones. Our good friend Rico Rodriguez will need to utilize his new weaponized Bavarium Wingsuit (fitted with shoulder mounted machine guns and auto targeting missiles) and personal defense drone to take the fight to the enemy. Basically, we’ll get to blow up new stuff using new toys in new missions!

“If Just Cause 3 is over-the-top action then the Air, Land and Sea Expansion pass aims to stand on its shoulders and reach even higher,”
said Tobias Andersson, Senior Producer at Avalanche Studios. “An incredible amount of time has been spent ensuring every new item is fully integrated into the main game and can be used during existing missions. Rico’s new Bavarium Wingsuit will fundamentally alter the core gameplay of Just Cause 3 and we can’t wait to see the crazy stunts that players perform with it.”

The second pack called Land Mech Assault, will contain another new series of missions. It’s also come with a mech suit armed with a gravity gun that can pick up and fling objects. The Bavarium Sea Heist will conclude the expansion pass, though there’s no word on what that pack will include.

Those looking to nab the Air, Land & Sea Expansion can do so for $24.99 (the Sky Fortress can be bought for $11.99 solo) with the first pack landing in March – buying the pass will allow you to play each pack a week before it’s officially released. Buy this game, not for the story, but for the ability to let loose/blow the island up to smithereens.
